Spareribs glazed with Lindemans Kriek

Method

  • Blend the Lindemans Kriek to a smooth sauce with salt, pepper, tomato purée and honey. Crush and add the garlic. Coat the racks of ribs thoroughly with marinade.
  • Let them rest for at least 1 hour in a cool place.
  • Lay them on an oven tray and cover. Place the oven tray in a preheated oven at 160 °C. Remove the oven tray after one hour and a half, uncover and place it briefly under a hot grill, so that the ribs colour nicely.
  • Cut the ribs per two.
  • Serve on a bed of lettuce.
