Since 2015, the Lindemans Brewery in Vlezenbeek has been organizing the Lindemans Lambic Tour on Car Free Sunday. Both evens promotes sustainable mobility. The 4th edition this year took place on 22 September. An excellent opportunity to pick up that new or old bike!

We started the Lindemans Lambic Tour from the center of Brussels or from the brewery. The route, about 40 km long, shows the most beautiful Art Nouveau architecture and green lungs of our capital. The green Zenne valley and the Pajottenland, which make lambic beer so unique with unique wild yeasts, bring an oasis of peace. Everyone was welcome at the brewery for a refreshing Lindemans beer. In style... as we invited them at our brand new Lindemans Beer Truck on Place Royale in Brussels.

Sustainable lambic brewery

Lindemans Brewery applies sustainability and mobility in its policy. This year for example, the lambic brewery resolutely opted for inland shipping in order to transport export containers from Brussels to the Port of Antwerp. "In this way we limit the number of trucks on the road, we do our bit to solve the mobility problem and we reduce our CO2 emissions," says Dirk Lindemans and Geert Lindemans. Until now, the export of export containers from Brussels to the Port of Antwerp was done by truck.

“With the Lindemans Lambic Tour we want to make everyone more aware of sustainable alternatives to cars. Why not biking from Brussels to the Pajottenland, for example? ”, says the Lindemans family. "The Lindemans Lambic Tour is already an ideal way to explore the trail."

In 2018, around 2,000 visitors visited the Lindemans Lambic Tour. For this year, people registered on www.lindemanslambictour.be. Participation cost € 5 (including insurance and a free consumption). Those who registered in advance could enjoy a nice gadget!
