Lindemans

At the European Beer Challenge in London on March 13, 2024, Lindemans Brewery received multiple awards. Both the iconic Lindemans Kriek and Lindemans Oude Gueuze Cuvée René. were honored with a Double Gold medal. Lindemans Spontanbasil and Lindemans Oude Kriek Cuvée René were each awarded a gold medal, while Goyck received a silver medal.  

Featuring a diverse range of beer styles, the competition served as a tribute to the diversity and quality of European beer culture. The award-winning beers represent the pinnacle of innovation and tradition in the beer industry.  

Lindemans Kriek, awarded Double Gold, is a true classic among fruit beers. This bright red cherry beer has a rich, fruity flavor with the perfect balance between juicy cherries and the refreshing, tangy flavor of lambic with hints of almonds.  

The traditional Lindemans Oude Gueuze Cuvée René, previously praised as the world's best Old Gueuze, was awarded Double Gold as well. Its complex aromas of green apple, dry sherry, and hints of citrus fruits give this lively and refreshing light gold beer an intriguing flavor profile with a refreshing tang that tantalizes the taste buds.  

Lindemans Oude Kriek Cuvée René was awarded Gold. This complex, ruby-red old cherry beer combines subtle cherry and almond nuances with a perfect balance between fruitiness and spiciness. The taste is complex, fruity, and refreshing. A dry, tangy finish provides an unforgettable experience.  

Lindemans SpontanBasil, also awarded Gold, is a botanical lambic beer. Powerful basil aromas blend with a complex, spicy flavor and refreshing sour notes.  

Goyck, awarded Silver, embodies the authentic taste of the Pajottenland, where it originates. This beer has a golden, lightly veiled color and includesaromas of malt, hops, and citrus with floral tones. The beer has a pleasant hoppy character, complemented by a hint of citrus and a delicate acidity.
